Tap Liège ASBL, co-founded by tap dancer Joshua Hilberman and musician Stephanie Detry in 2015 and located at the Claquettes Club in Liege, Belgium, is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing tap dancers and the art of tap dance through choreographic residencies, performances, workshops, masterclasses, jam sessions, film showings, weekly classes for adults and children, and the ongoing Tap Liege Festival. In collaboration with Jep Melendez the historic tap dance incubation program provides dramaturgy as well as full technical support including light, sound, and video design. As tap dance continues to evolve, Tap Liege remains dedicated to the rhythmic, the conceptual, the innovative, the traditional, and all that is good about tap dance.
